Lasajang Community Project (LCP) is a registered Scottish charity (SC037448) supporting rural farming communities in Ghana.  Our projects are based in the Sissala area in the Upper West Region of Ghana.

Our aim is to support the local people to build an ethically sustainable economy, to improve the quality of education and to promote the development of community led eco-tourism.

Lasajang” is a Sissala word which means building communities together.  The founder of the charity Suleman Chebe is a Sissala man who now lives and works in Scotland and who wants to support his home country of Ghana and promote links between the two countries.  He is a musician and writer and has worked with many businesses and schools in Scotland.

Pulima is the home of Chief Suleman Chebe, the founder of the Lasajang Community Project along with his partner Dr Helen Chebe.
