LCP supporting local farming communities in northern Ghana

Ordinary People Making Extraordinary Differences!

Lasajang Community Project (LCP) is a registered Scottish charity (SC037448) supporting rural farming communities in Ghana.  Our projects are concentrated in the Sissala and neighbouring communities in the Upper West Region which is the poorest region in Ghana.

LCP is a Scottish charity supporting sustainable development projects in northern Ghana.
Our aim is to support the local people to build an ethically sustainable economy, to improve the quality of education for children in the area and to promote the development of community led eco-tourism.

"Lasajang" is a Sissala word which means building communities together.  The founder of the charity Chief Suleman Chebe is a Sissala man who now lives and works in Scotland and who wants to support his home country of Ghana and promote links between the two countries.  He is a musician and has visited many businesses and schools (www.teachingdrums.com) in Scotland.

How can you make a difference?  There are many ways you can help the people of northern Ghana.  Our charity depends on the enthusiasm and caring from people like you, through events, donations and activities:-

If you would like to support our work please email or phone 01236 823869
