Ordinary People Making Extraordinary Differences!

Donate to the Lasajang Community Project

The Lasajang Community Project relies on the help and the support of individuals and organisations.  All the money raised is used to support our projects in Ghana.  Our charity is run entirely by volunteers and we pay all administration costs.  The founder of our charity, Suleman Chebe, is a Sissala man from northern Ghana and we have volunteers based in Scotland and Ghana.  Our projects are established by consultation and help from the local people and our aim is to support sustainable projects that lead to development.

Donate Goods

You are welcome to donate goods directly to us by delivery or post.  Local community groups and schools who are interested in raising large quantities of goods can contact us to arrange collection.

Children in Ghana still go to school without an exercise jotter or pencil and many classes share only a handful of reading books.  During April 2009 we delivered hundreds of pencils, pens, rulers, calculators to Pulima Primary School which had been donate from many Scottish schools.  We would also like to thank VT Nuclear Services in Cumbria for their kind donation of calculator rulers which were distributed to the senior pupils at Pulima Primary and to Beam Global Distribution for the huge number of pens.
